Whether you’re navigating an ending
or stepping into a new beginning

Sometimes, change arrives uninvited.
The loss of a loved one, the end of
a relationship or a role, a career abruptly ends, or a life path no longer fits.
It can feel as though the ground
beneath you has shifted, leaving
you lost, grieving, and unsure of
how to move forward. Even when
life continues around you, it may feel
like nothing makes sense anymore.
the kind you don’t
You don’t have to do this alone.
In this space, you’ll be supported,
heard, and gently guided through the
slow unfolding of what comes next.
We’ll honour what you’ve lost, and help
you take meaningful steps towards
a future that feels both possible
and purposeful.
Life may never be the same, but in
time, it can hold beauty and
meaning again.
the kind you choose
You’ve felt the pull for a while—
something inside you knows it’s time.
Maybe you’re starting your own
business, stepping into a new career,
or making a bold life change.
This is what you’ve wanted, yet it
can be overwhelming. What if it
doesn’t work out? Even when change
is chosen, it can feel destabilizing,
bringing up fears, self-doubt,
and unexpected roadblocks.
If you would like support, structure,
and a space to process both the
excitement and the fear as you step
into your next chapter, let’s discuss
how I could help you.
Together, we can navigate the
uncertainty, identify and clear blocks,
strengthen your sense of purpose,
and create a path forward that feels
authentic and aligned.
the kind you choose
and the kind you don’t
there are two kinds of change
My own experiences have guided me to take what I have learned about transforming
pain into purpose and offer support to others as they go through their own personal
metamorphosis. Does that mean I have life “all figured out”? Of course not. But what I
have figured out is that through my combination of life experience, training,
temperament and empathy, I am able to offer a warm and steady presence for those
processing grief, change, and new beginnings.
The changes I chose brought both highs and lows. Having lived in four countries other
than my own, I had amazing experiences AND I sometimes found myself without a
supportive community around me when I most needed it - even the changes we
choose can come with their own set of challenges and adjustments. A couple of years
ago, I realized that ‘purpose’ is not necessarily one thing forever, and felt called to
make a big change. Has it been easy? Nope. Has it been worth it? Definitely. Maybe
you can relate? As we move through life, we may find ourselves looking in new places
for meaning and purpose, and this can sometimes mean a period of transition and
instability, and it can bring up a lot of fear and doubt before the path opens up.
The changes I didn’t choose include the double loss of a romantic relationship in my
30s, first a painful break-up quickly followed by the shock of his death while I was still
grieving the relationship. I have watched as my mother slipped away with dementia
then died far too young only two months after the loss of my dear father, changing
the landscape of our family forever. I have also lost my connection with someone dear
to me because their addiction made a relationship untenable. Now midlife is
introducing new realities and again, I must adapt.
It’s not uncommon to reevaluate our lives at different stages, either to make changes
that feel more aligned with who we’ve become or as a result of circumstances
outside of our control. Either way, change and starting over can be challenging.
Doing it with a broken heart, even more so.
Much of the major growth and healing we undertake in our lives have their roots in
things falling apart, and while the outcome may ultimately be powerfully
transformative, that’s not to say the path on the way there is easy.

I know what it’s like to stand at a crossroads; reeling from a life-altering loss or stepping into the uncharted territory of a new chapter. I understand the uncertainty, the fear, the hope, the overwhelm and the grief. I don’t just coach from knowledge, I coach from experience.

Hi. I’m Gihan (pronounced Jehanne), a certified life coach, trauma-informed coach
and Grief Recovery Specialist. I work with people navigating challenging transitions in
their life, providing compassionate support for those seeking relief, healing, growth
and transformation as they make their way to life on the other side of change.
a little bit
about me
- You’re navigating a major life transition—whether it’s one you chose (a new career,
starting a business, stepping into a new identity etc.) or one that blindsided you (grief,
heartbreak, job loss, or any significant unexpected ending), and you feel
overwhelmed, lost, or unsure what to do next because of this .
- You are sensitive, deep-thinking, and introspective—you feel things profoundly and
want a coach who truly understands that depth.
- You’re seeking not just external solutions, but deep inner clarity. You want to
understand yourself on a soul level, beyond just setting goals or creating action plans.
- You’re drawn to self-discovery and a spiritually-oriented approach.
- You accept responsibility for your own healing and are willing to do the inner work—to
explore, reflect, and gently challenge the beliefs that may be holding you back.
- You are open to the idea that sometimes our most difficult experiences provide our
deepest life lessons - even though it may not feel like it right now.
- You are (optionally) interested in learning how tools like astrology, Human Design, and
the Enneagram may enhance self-discovery and help you understand yourself at a
deeper level.
- You are committed to showing up for every session.
- You want a safe, compassionate space where your emotions, grief, fears, and dreams
are honoured without judgment.
This isn’t for you if you’re looking for quick-fix solutions, surface-level strategies,
or someone to tell you exactly what to do. But if you’re ready to navigate this
transition with depth, intention, and self-trust, I’d love to walk this path with you.
If you’d like to have a conversation to explore your unique situation, needs,
and goals, I offer a free session to explore whether I am the right coach for you.
we may be a good fit if…
are we a fit?
Not every coaching style is for everyone, and that’s okay.
My approach is deep, intuitive, and transformational.
I work best with people who are committed and ready to do deep work.
Important
Please note that coaching is NOT therapy and if there are other issues present that would be best treated by a therapist or other
healthcare professional, we will discuss options for referral. As a trauma-informed coach, I am trained to understand the presence
of trauma and help people build resilience. I do not diagnose or treat trauma. In the coaching relationship, we focus on the
present, not the past and how trauma may be affecting your life today. The aim is to employ coaching strategies to help build
healthy beliefs, and positive coping strategies. Please take the time to reflect on whether this program is the right fit for you.
Let’s connect and find the best approach for you, whether with me or an alternative practitioner.
